Pick a checkpoint on purpose

English, multilingual, or the typed-decisions specialist. The authors already say which one to load. This walkthrough just puts that choice in order.

Walk this in order

1. Read ConvAI’s model card before you install anything. The three checkpoints are not interchangeable.
2. Stay on the English 421M weights when the document is English and you are not reproducing the specialist suite.
3. Use the 322M multilingual checkpoint when the script is not Latin. Their card is the source for that rule.
4. Load laya-typed-decisions only for the four published workflows, or after you fine-tune on your own labels.
5. If you need a first call, follow Start here and keep the official Space as the no-install check.
